PITTSBURGH, Pa., September 30, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The Federated Hermes Premier Municipal Income Fund (NYSE: FMN) announced today that it plans to redeem all outstanding Auction Market Preferred Shares (AMPS) on or at November 3, 2021.
The AMPS are redeemed at $ 25,000 per share plus all unpaid dividends accrued up to the redemption date. The overall liquidation preference of the AMPS to be repaid is $ 1,175,000. The Fund reserves the right to cancel, change or postpone the redemption date or the number of AMPS to be redeemed if the Fund’s Net Asset Value deteriorates or the Fund’s Board of Directors otherwise deems it appropriate.
